Behind Closed Doors 2025

Have you ever wondered what is behind those closed, locked doors of some of our family mausoleums? Wait no more! Step through the doors of six family mausoleums on Wednesday, September 10th, from 6:00–9:00 pm. During this exclusive event, you’ll have the chance to walk the grounds and tour the resting places of famous names like Vice President Thomas Marshall, bankers Vajen and Knight, and the “blue” mausoleum - complete with a chandelier - for Lynch Glass Machinery Company owner James Lynch. 

As a special treat, our artists-in-residence Jessica Dunn and Michael Moskaliuk will preview their artwork.

Your ticket will include exclusive access to six of our family mausoleums and specially curated food (heavy hors d'oeuvres) and drink stations from Indy-area chefs and mixologists. The event will begin at the Gothic Chapel, and the mausoleum tour walk will cover about 1 mile. For individuals with mobility issues who require special assistance, golf carts will be available.

Tickets:

• $125 per person, ages 21 and over
• No gate sales, tickets must be purchased online
• Doors open at 5:30, mausoleum tours begin at 6:00
