He signed with Curb Records in 1996 and won the 2006 Academy of Country Music Top New Male Vocalist award.

Jake Dodds is an independent country music artist from Unionville, Indiana, known for high-energy shows and a decade of touring. Rising to prominence with his 2021 hit "She Goes to Work" (which reached #11 on iTunes Country), he has opened for major artists like Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, and Lee Brice.
